Use a Checklist for Holiday Help

Here are three tips that you can use to cope with stress during the holidays or any other time of the year:

  • Schedule time to relax.Many busy people don’t make time to change their rhythm of life from time to time. Whether it is 5 minutes or 5 days, a break in routine can refresh the body, mind and spirit!
  • Learn to say NO! It is an honor to be asked to do a task by someone else. However, it is not always in our best interest to accept every opportunity that comes along,
  • Sleep well. Believe it or not, it can take hard work to get a good night’s sleep. Planning for relaxation before bedtime can contribute to a restful night’s sleep. Some individuals find journal writing to be helpful in eliminating recurring worrisome thoughts during the night.
