Adjust to College and ADHD

iStock_000002121807XSmall_Girl_BooksEvery August a new crop of freshmen migrate to college. Young adults who experience Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) can use some strategies to help them adjust to college life on campus or while living at home.

  • Use electronic devices that help with time management, note-taking and reminders. Many of the small hand-held devices will do multiple tasks. Just remember to charge them as needed!
  • Stay healthy by getting enough sleep, eating nutritious foods and exercising.
