What Is In My Library?

BooksIs the book collection out of control? Are there books under the bed, in boxes, and stacked on shelves? Is your professional library unorganized and not usable?

LibraryThing will help the book-lover to set up and maintain sortable lists of books. Once you register you can create a list of the books in your library by entering a few details about the book such as title or author. Even more information pops up and you can verify that it is, indeed, the book you have. Information about the books is gleaned from Amazon.com, Library of Congress and hundreds of other world libraries.

You can add labels called tags to identify why the book is important to you. For example, all books in my library that relate to chronic disorganization have been tagged with that phrase. One of the benefits of taking the time to add my own labels is that I can sort the list of my books into those that are related to chronic disorganization.

This web-based tool can help a book-lover to catalog a personal collection as well as connect with others who share similar interests if they choose.

There are more benefits toLibraryThing. Let me know what you think about the system.
