Protect Your Purse

A couple of years ago, a gal I know was victimized while doing her Christmas shopping. She had finished up for the day and was in the parking lot loading her bags into the trunk of her car. While she was occupied with some packages in her trunk, someone walked past her, and lifted her purse from her cart.  She didn’t even notice until she finished with her sacks and no longer had a purse to put in her car. The thief not only stole her purse, but stole her Holiday Spirit as well.

I was so sad to learn what happened to her, and I told others to beware as they shopped and to put their purse in their car first, before loading packages.  So please, keep your Christmas Cheer intact, and load your purse first.

Here’s a little rhyme to help you remember:

“When Loading your Packages, put your Purse in First.
Because to Lose it would be the Worst!!”

Merry Christmas Shopping Everyone!!

  1. So sad but true! I trick I learned last year was while shopping in a grocery store or any store with a cart…lock your purse in the cart with the child seat strap. That way theves can not take it off your arm or even out of your cart for that matter without you getting alot of attention. Thank you for this reminder at the Christmas shopping time.
