Don’t Miss National Procrastination Week

The first full week of March is “National Procrastination Week.” What will you tackle this week that you’ve been putting off?

It’s time to get going …but which way do I go and where do I start?  That is the response that I get from most people who are procrastinating.

The first full week in March is “National Procrastination Week.” What will you tackle this week that you’ve been putting off?  Start with one thing and FINISH it.  Then the next, then the next.  Take small steps and get it done.

Some people compare a large job to “eating an elephant.”  How do you eat an elephant you wonder?  One Small piece at a time.  So break your big jobs into small manageable jobs and get it done.

If you are working in your home and it is a mess a group effort may be in order.  Let everyone in the family pick a task and you can work separately or as a team.  If you have stuff lying around and you don’t know where it goes, what it is or where to put it…it’s probably clutter that you can get rid of.

Whatever you do…do something!  I’ve heard it said that inactivity causes anxiety.  Don’t be anxious about your mess…just dig in and get it done, no matter how small of a dent you put into it…at least there is a dent.

If you are in overwhelm, you may want to call a professional organizer in to help you get a start or do lay out ground rules or to give you guidance.  You may even want a professional organizer to do it for you and that’s ok too.

March 1st to the 7th is “National Procrastination Week.” What will you tackle this week that you’ve been putting off?  Give Organizing Plus a call for some help or guidance today.
